Fi Gorko appears in The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword as a playable character. He's a Goron archaeologist working on The Surface and Skyloft. 

Gorko will seek Link for assistance researching Goddess Cubes and Goddess Walls several times throughout Link's quest. His helper, Golo, assists him with physical activities like archeological excavation.
