Tarzan is a 1999 animated adventure film directed by Walt Disney Feature Animation and distributed by Walt Disney Pictures.
It is the first animated major motion picture adaptation of Edgar Rice Burroughs' novella Tarzan of the Apes. It is the 37th Disney animated feature film, the tenth and last produced during the Disney Renaissance era. It is based on the narrative Tarzan of the Apes by Edgar Rice Burroughs.
