The Simpsons is one of the most loved cartoon families by kids and adults of all time. It is the longest running animated series ever and is American.
The Simpsons is a small family consisting of parents Homer and Marge and their three children Bart, Lisa, and Maggie. They live in Springfield at 742 Evergreen Terrace. Painter Matt Groening inspired me with the idea of The Simpsons when he was in the lobby of James Brooks. Matt Groening named the characters he drew after his family members and used Bart's name instead.
The family appeared in Tracy Ullman's program on April 14, 1987, and then his series began publishing on December 17, 1989. There are several small and large characters in addition to the five main family members.
The most frequent characters include Simpson, the father of Homer, Patty and Selma, the sisters of Marge, and the family's two pets, Santa Little Helper and Snowball II. Other family members include Homer's mother, Amber Simpson, Homer's wife, Jacqueline Bouvier, Marge's mother, and all minor relatives.
